Green Transition is an initiative within CEW (Circular Economy Web), a network connecting companies, researchers, and institutions working toward sustainable and circular solutions.
Green Transition website design explores how a complex network of projects, partners, and stakeholders can be translated into a clear, engaging digital platform. The project focuses on creating a public facing website that communicates the initiative’s identity and impact.
The design is driven by clarity, structure, and storytelling. Research revealed that users struggled to understand relationships between projects and partners, often finding similar platforms overwhelming. In response, the information architecture was built to clearly communicate who is working on what and with whom, while highlighting impact and opportunities.
Organic shapes and a consistent grid system create a cohesive identity, while clear navigation, hierarchy, and restrained use of colour support intuitive use.
Overall, the project demonstrates how a platform built from scratch can turn complexity into clarity and strengthen communication for Green Transition.
This was my first UI/UX project.
